Alfa Bank Ukraine pays sixth tranche under 2012 Loan Participation Notes

Kiev, January 2012 . On January 26, Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) paid the sixth tranche under its 2012 Loan Participation Notes. The payment comprises coupon of US$10.2 million and a principal installment in a par value of US$105.1 million. Starting from 30 October 2010, the Notes mature in 8 equal installments paid quarterly at the date of coupon payment and are fully amortised on 30 July 2012.

In August 2009, the Bank exchanged all its Loan Participation Notes totaling US$1.045 billion (due 2009, 2010 and 2011) for new US dollar-denominated Notes with coupon paid quarterly, quarterly amortisation due 2012 (“Notes 2012”). This Exchange Offer was accepted by majority of the Noteholders. Total amount of the new issue equaled to US$840,633,000. As of now, the Bank has redeemed 75% of all the Loan Participation Notes outstanding after the Exchange.
